Prostamax
KEDP · Lys-Glu-Asp-Pro · prostate tetrapeptide · Простамакс
Prostamax is synthetic Lys-Glu-Asp-Pro (KEDP), the prostate cytogen. Libidon is the Cytomax complex. Prostatilen is the pharmaceutical extract. KEDP is not KED (Vesugen) and not KE (Vilon).
Quick answer
What it is: Prostamax is synthetic Lys-Glu-Asp-Pro (KEDP), the prostate cytogen.
Class and target: Cytogen (synthetic short peptide) · Prostate · sequence KEDP
Typical research dose: 1-2 mg/day (research / Russian bioregulator practice)

How it works
Prostamax is the synthetic tetrapeptide Lys-Glu-Asp-Pro (KEDP). Prostatilen (already in the library) is a bovine prostate polypeptide extract. Same organ narrative, different material.
US compounding/research vials labeled Prostamax are the tetrapeptide SKU. They are not Vitaprost/Samprost.
Source: Khavinson cytogen / prostate-peptide literature; Prostatilen is the extract, not KEDP

Canonical 41Used in bioregulator stacks
Manufacturer-style organ combinations - not FDA protocols. Every name is a live leaf.
The Khavinson school
Prostamax is filed here as cytogen (synthetic short peptide), targeting the prostate. Khavinson's St. Petersburg group moved from organ extracts (Cytamins) to capsule complexes (Cytomaxes) to synthetic short peptides (Cytogens); most of the evidence comes from that one group, with little independent Western replication.

History of this molecule
One extra residue turns a vessel tripeptide into a prostate tetrapeptide in this naming system. That is the whole warning label. CIS urology used Prostatilen as a drug product; KEDP is the defined motif people buy as research powder.
Not tadalafil. Not finasteride. PSA still matters.
Caveats
A defined sequence is not an FDA indication. Prostate cytogens sit in a Russian experimental-gerontology literature with limited Western replication. “Oral bioavailability because PEPT1” is real peptide-transport biology; it is not proof this SKU treats the organ disease. Gray-market identity is a live problem - HPLC is the only way to know the vial is the sequence on the label.

Administration
Prostamax: oral vs SubQ
- Official cytogen capsule SKU. No reconstitution.
- Same sequence claim as the vial if the box is Prostamax.
- Not a sublingual tablet. Nobody manufactures this SKU that way.
- Libidon is the prostate Cytomax mixture. Different class.
- Rectal Prostatilen (CIS) is the extract’s non-injectable presentation, not a KEDP swallow.
- KED vs KEDP is a shipping error waiting to happen.
- Defined sequence. Vial math is legitimate when the bottle is KEDP.
- Separable from Prostatilen/Samprost/Vitaprost (extract) if the COA is real.
- SubQ research use is not a US BPH indication.
- Rising PSA is a workup, not a peptide protocol.
- Gray-market “Prostatilen” powder is often mislabeled KEDP. Identity first.
- Not tadalafil, not finasteride.

Safety & Considerations
Research tetrapeptide. Not finasteride, not tamsulosin, not a substitute for urologic care. Distinct from the bovine extract.
Regulatory & Legal Status
KEDP tetrapeptide. Distinct from Prostatilen (bovine prostate extract). Not a US BPH drug
Not currently on the WADA 2026 Prohibited List. Policies may change - verify before competition.

Limits of current evidence
- A defined sequence is not an FDA indication.
- Gray-market identity is a live problem. HPLC beats a blog table.
- Do not paste a sibling cytogen’s papers onto this SKU.
- This site will not treat the named organ disease from a peptide page.
Verdict
Prostamax is the synthetic KEDP cytogen for Prostate. Khavinson’s group published in this family. That is a concentrated literature, not a Western Phase 3. Capsules and vials are different SKUs.
Interactions & Contraindications
Research tetrapeptide. Not finasteride, not tamsulosin, not a substitute for urologic care. Distinct from the bovine extract.
Prostamax vs. Prostatilen
Canonical comparison: Prostamax vs Prostatilen
| Attribute | Prostamax | Prostatilen |
|---|---|---|
| Molecule | KEDP tetrapeptide | Bovine prostate polypeptide extract |
| Class | Synthetic cytogen | Cytomax tissue fraction |
| US status | Research SKU | Eastern European pharmaceutical extract |
Verdict: Same organ story, different stuff in the vial. Prostamax is not a nickname for Prostatilen.
