Editorial policy
How Kymata Health, a Kymata Labs site, decides what to publish, which sources count, how pages are dated and reviewed, and how we keep affiliate revenue away from results.
What we publish
Kymata Health publishes evidence-based guides on hormones, sleep and supplements, comparisons of online telehealth clinics on dated prices, supplement stack explainers, a peptide reference library and free calculators. Everything is educational. We are not a clinic, pharmacy or supplier, and nothing here is medical advice.
Sources we accept
Factual claims about how a compound works, its evidence, or its safety must trace to one of:
- Peer-reviewed research indexed in PubMed or PMC, cited by PMID or DOI that we have opened and checked.
- FDA labels, FDA safety communications, the FDA drug-shortage database, and other regulator documents (EMA, WADA).
- Clinical guidelines and position statements from professional societies (for example the Endocrine Society or The Menopause Society).
- For prices and plan terms: the provider's own public page, linked next to the number with the date we checked it.
We do not cite vendor marketing as evidence of efficacy, and we remove citations we cannot verify. When the evidence is thin or only from animal or cell studies, the page says so.
Calculator accuracy
The calculators are plain arithmetic (for example: concentration = peptide mass ÷ water volume; units = dose ÷ concentration × 100 on a U-100 syringe). The same functions power the pages and the public calculator API, so a correction fixes both. Results are rounded for display and should be checked against the product label and a clinician's instructions.
How pages are checked
Content is researched and drafted with the help of AI tools. Before a page or a change goes live it passes two checks:
- Adversarial review. A separate AI-assisted review pass, whose only job is to find what is wrong, re-reads the change and re-checks each claim, price, link, citation and disclosure against its source.
- External audit. The site is also audited by an independent frontier AI model from a different provider, which flags unsupported claims, missing disclosures and errors for us to fix.
Findings are fixed and re-checked before publishing. These are AI-assisted checks, not medical review: no page on this site has been reviewed by a licensed clinician. If that ever changes, the reviewer will be named on the specific pages they reviewed, with their credentials and the review date. Kymata Labs LLC is responsible for every page and every correction.
Every reference and comparison page shows when it was last checked. Telehealth prices are re-checked against providers' own pages and the “Prices checked” date is updated each time.
Claims we will not make
- No claims that a peptide, supplement, or compounded drug diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents a disease, beyond what an FDA label states.
- No “guaranteed results”, before/after promises, or dosing recommendations for unapproved compounds.
- Compounded medications are always identified as compounded and not FDA-approved.
Money and independence
Some links earn us a commission (see the affiliate disclosure). Commissions never change a calculator result, a ranking, a score, or a “best for” label. Telehealth rankings follow the published methodology, which bans commercial overrides. Most brands and providers we list are ones whose affiliate programs we have joined or applied to, so our comparisons do not cover the whole market; a few vetted providers with no program are listed with plain links. Nobody can pay for a higher rank or to review a page before publication.
