The short answer
From 13 sourcesL. gasseri trials are strain-specific and mostly run by the strain makers. In Japan, fermented milk with SBT2055 cut belly fat by 4.6% to 8.5% over 12 weeks, and BNR17 capsules lowered visceral fat in Korea. Heat-killed CP2305 eased stress and menopause scores. Other strains were tested for indigestion, allergies and colds.
