How it works
Testoluten (A-13) is a Cytomax natural polypeptide extract from the testicular tissue of young calves, targeting human Leydig cells and Sertoli cells to restore age-silenced gene expression governing testosterone biosynthesis, sperm maturation, and seminiferous tubule function. Male testosterone levels decline approximately 1–2% per year after age 30 - a process called andropause or ADAM (androgen deficiency in the aging male). By age 70, most men have testosterone levels 30–60% below their peak, with downstream effects on muscle mass, bone density, libido, cognitive clarity, and cardiovascular health.
Testoluten delivers short peptide signals (<10 kDa) from bovine testicular tissue. These peptides enter Leydig cell nuclei to reactivate transcription of StAR (steroidogenic acute regulatory protein, the rate-limiting step in testosterone synthesis), CYP17A1 (the enzyme converting pregnenolone to testosterone precursors), and LH (luteinizing hormone) receptor density. In Sertoli cells, Testoluten reactivates FSH receptor expression and ABP (androgen-binding protein) production, supporting the testicular microenvironment for spermatogenesis. Critically, Testoluten does not provide exogenous testosterone - it restores the testicular Leydig cell's own capacity to respond to pituitary LH signaling.
In Khavinson's male health protocol, Testoluten (A-13) is combined with Libidon (A-16, prostate) for the complete male reproductive system stack, addressing both the production organ (testes) and the secondary reproductive gland (prostate) simultaneously.

History of this molecule
Male-reproductive Khavinson products get bought by people who wanted TRT. Wrong aisle. The extract story is aging testicular tissue and spermatogenic epithelium, not 200 mg of ester per week. Testoluten is the complex; Testagen is the cytogen on the NPCRIZ list.
hCG, clomiphene, and exogenous T have labeled or guideline-shaped uses. This capsule does not. Fertility workups still start with labs and a urologist.
Caveats
Testis Cytomax is not a US dietary-supplement monograph and not a drug. The tissue-extract model means lot-to-lot composition is a fingerprint, not a single CAS number. Some English-language bottles carry a “V2” label. Vita Peptides, for example, labels its own house line V2 (15 mg per capsule vs 10 mg in V1). No study compares V1 and V2 outcomes, and neither label is the subject of Khavinson’s 1990s papers. Animal-source capsules are inappropriate if the reader has a religious or allergy constraint on the source species. None of this replaces care for the actual organ disease.

- Reconstitute Testagen if you bought the cytogen vial. A Testoluten-labeled cake is a mis-ID. This is not a 200 mg/week ester.
- Testoluten is an oral capsule complex. It is not a 5 mg lyophilized research vial.
- Inventing recon math for a zero-mg Cytomax vial is how people inject the wrong product.
- Not an official Cytomed sublingual tablet, IM ampoule, or eye drop either.
