How it works

Pielotax (A-9) is a Cytomax natural polypeptide extract from the kidney tissue of young calves, targeting human nephrons (the kidney's functional filtration units) to restore age-silenced gene expression governing glomerular filtration rate (GFR), tubular reabsorption capacity, and renal hormonal output. The kidneys perform over 200 physiological functions: removing metabolic waste, regulating electrolyte balance, controlling blood pressure (via the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system), and producing erythropoietin (EPO, the hormone stimulating red blood cell production). Renal function declines approximately 1% per year after age 40, and this loss is largely silent - most people do not experience symptoms until GFR has declined by 50–60%.

Pielotax delivers short peptide signals (<10 kDa) from bovine kidney tissue that penetrate renal tubular cell nuclei to reactivate transcription of genes encoding: aquaporin water channels (critical for urine concentration), Na/K-ATPase pumps (electrolyte balance), superoxide dismutase (oxidative protection in nephrons), and EPO precursor genes. It operates on both the cortex (glomerular filtration) and medulla (tubular reabsorption).

In Khavinson's clinical protocols, Pielotax is the cornerstone of the urological system stack alongside Chitomur (A-12, bladder). The kidneys are also central to overall longevity - declining GFR is independently associated with cardiovascular mortality, making renal health preservation a priority from middle age.

Pielotax is filed here as cytomax (natural peptide complex), targeting the kidneys. Khavinson's St. Petersburg group moved from organ extracts (Cytamins) to capsule complexes (Cytomaxes) to synthetic short peptides (Cytogens); most of the evidence comes from that one group, with little independent Western replication.

History of this molecule

Renal peptide bioregulation is podocytes, tubules, and the unglamorous work of filtration. Khavinson’s extract logic applies the same organ-identity story here as everywhere else. Pielotax is the complex. There is no famous kidney tetrapeptide on the 12-cytogen poster.

Chitomur is bladder, not kidney. Vesilut is the bladder cytogen. Stacking Pielotax with Chitomur is a urinary-tract neighborhood stack, not a double kidney dose.

The skin mistranslation needs to die in public: Pielotax ≠ GHK-Cu ≠ “peptide for peau.”

Caveats

Kidney Cytomax is not a US dietary-supplement monograph and not a drug. The tissue-extract model means lot-to-lot composition is a fingerprint, not a single CAS number. Some English-language bottles carry a “V2” label. Vita Peptides, for example, labels its own house line V2 (15 mg per capsule vs 10 mg in V1). No study compares V1 and V2 outcomes, and neither label is the subject of Khavinson’s 1990s papers. Animal-source capsules are inappropriate if the reader has a religious or allergy constraint on the source species. None of this replaces care for the actual organ disease. Rising creatinine is nephrology, not a 20-day capsule course.
