How it works

Chitomur (A-12) is a Cytomax natural polypeptide extract from the urinary bladder wall of young calves. Urinary dysfunction - including overactive bladder, stress incontinence, nocturia, and urgency - affects an estimated 30–40% of adults over age 60. The underlying cause is often not hormonal but structural: progressive atrophy of the detrusor muscle's smooth muscle cells and deterioration of the urothelial (bladder wall epithelial) lining.

Chitomur delivers a targeted library of short peptide signals (<10 kDa) that penetrate bladder wall cell nuclei via the Khavinson epigenetic mechanism, reactivating genes responsible for smooth muscle tone regulation, collagen synthesis in the submucosal layer, and anti-inflammatory cytokine balance. Unlike anticholinergic medications (oxybutynin, solifenacin) that simply suppress bladder contractions pharmacologically, Chitomur works to restore normal tissue architecture and neuromuscular tone at the cellular level.

History of this molecule

Bladder aging is detrusor, urothelium, and the miserable overlap with prostate in men. Khavinson split kidney (Pielotax) from bladder (Chitomur) on purpose. The cytogen pair is Vesilut, which we now list as its own leaf so the 41 is not missing a manufacturer SKU.

This is not oxybutynin, not mirabegron, not a sling surgery.

Caveats

Bladder Cytomax is not a US dietary-supplement monograph and not a drug. The tissue-extract model means lot-to-lot composition is a fingerprint, not a single CAS number. Some English-language bottles carry a “V2” label. Vita Peptides, for example, labels its own house line V2 (15 mg per capsule vs 10 mg in V1). No study compares V1 and V2 outcomes, and neither label is the subject of Khavinson’s 1990s papers. Animal-source capsules are inappropriate if the reader has a religious or allergy constraint on the source species. None of this replaces care for the actual organ disease.
