Vitamin D alone did not change the risk of any fracture (RR 1.00, 95% CI 0.95 to 1.06; high certainty). Vitamin D with calcium gave RR 0.91 (0.84 to 0.99; 15 trials, 51,126 people), which the authors judged little to no benefit in absolute terms. Falls and other fracture outcomes showed little to no effect.
