How it works
Chelohart (A-14) is a Cytomax natural polypeptide extract from the cardiac muscle (myocardium) of young calves, delivering a broad-spectrum library of short peptide signals (<10 kDa) targeting human cardiomyocytes. The heart is the most metabolically active organ in the body - by age 60, cardiac output and cardiomyocyte regenerative capacity have measurably declined, leaving the heart more vulnerable to ischemia, oxidative damage, and arrhythmia.
Chelohart's peptides penetrate cardiomyocyte nuclei to relax age-silenced chromatin and reactivate transcription of proteins critical to heart muscle integrity: sarcomere proteins (actin, myosin), mitochondrial respiratory enzymes, and antioxidant defense genes (SOD, catalase). This distinguishes it sharply from simply "protecting" the heart with antioxidants - it works at the gene regulation level.
In the Khavinson system, Chelohart is the natural oral extract counterpart to Cardiogen (the synthesized tetrapeptide Ala-Glu-Asp-Arg). Khavinson's published research from the St. Petersburg Institute (2004) documents normalization of lipid metabolism, improved tolerance to physical load, and reduced cardiac stress markers in elderly patients following polypeptide bioregulator courses. The recommended companion is always Ventfort (A-3, blood vessel extract) to simultaneously support the vascular delivery system alongside the cardiac muscle.

The Khavinson school
Chelohart is filed here as cytomax (natural peptide complex), targeting the heart muscle. Khavinson's St. Petersburg group moved from organ extracts (Cytamins) to capsule complexes (Cytomaxes) to synthetic short peptides (Cytogens); most of the evidence comes from that one group, with little independent Western replication.

History of this molecule
Cardiomyocyte identity versus endothelial identity is the whole point of having two aisles. Khavinson’s heart line is muscle cells; the vessel line is the lining. Chelohart + Cardiogen is myocardium. Ventfort + Vesugen is vasculature. SS-31 is a mitochondrial cardiolipin peptide from a completely different American program (Szeto) - do not steal elamipretide papers.
Heart failure remains GDMT. A capsule is not carvedilol.
Caveats
Heart Cytomax is not a US dietary-supplement monograph and not a drug. The tissue-extract model means lot-to-lot composition is a fingerprint, not a single CAS number. Some English-language bottles carry a “V2” label. Vita Peptides, for example, labels its own house line V2 (15 mg per capsule vs 10 mg in V1). No study compares V1 and V2 outcomes, and neither label is the subject of Khavinson’s 1990s papers. Animal-source capsules are inappropriate if the reader has a religious or allergy constraint on the source species. None of this replaces care for the actual organ disease.

Dosing
| Phase | Dose | Frequency | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mini-Course / General Preventive (1 box) | 2 capsules (20 mg) | Once daily for 10 days, 30 min before meals | Standard Khavinson mini-course (1 pack / 20 caps). Repeat every 6 months. Always pair with Ventfort (A-3, vascular extract) - the heart and vessel health must be addressed together. |
| Full Monthly Course (ages 40–50) | 2 capsules (20 mg) | Twice daily for 30 days (120 caps = 2× 60-cap boxes) | Bi-annual 30-day courses from age 40–45; 3 courses/year after 50. Core cardiovascular stack: Chelohart (A-14) + Ventfort (A-3) + Endoluten (A-8) for cardio-neuroendocrine support. |
| Intensive / Cardiac Support Protocol | 2 capsules (20 mg) | Twice daily, repeated monthly as needed | For post-MI recovery, chronic heart failure support, or significant age-related cardiac decline. Physician supervision required. Consider adding Cardiogen (synthesized tetrapeptide) as an initial 10-day burst before transitioning to oral Chelohart maintenance. Max: 4 caps/day (40 mg). |
Administration
Chelohart: Not a research vial vs Oral capsule
- The defined-sequence vial in this aisle is the cytogen pair (Cardiogen (heart cytogen)), a different SKU.
- There is no pharmaceutical-extract SKU that is this capsule in a syringe.
- Reconstitute Cardiogen if you bought the heart cytogen. A Chelohart cake is a mis-ID. Do not steal Szeto tetrapeptide papers.
- Chelohart is an oral capsule complex. It is not a 5 mg lyophilized research vial.
- Inventing recon math for a zero-mg Cytomax vial is how people inject the wrong product.
- Not an official Cytomed sublingual tablet, IM ampoule, or eye drop either.
- Official form for Chelohart: swallow the capsule with water. No reconstitution step and no 5 mg cake.
- Heart-muscle Cytomax (Cytomed A-14). Ventfort / Vesugen are vessels, not myocardium. Not SS-31 / elamipretide.
- Course-based (10–30 days, a few times a year in manufacturer folklore), not a daily forever drug.
- Myocardium Cytomax is a peptide mixture / lot fingerprint, not a single CAS. English “V2” bottles are a later commercial layer, not a Khavinson RCT.
- Russian school literature is not an FDA organ-disease label.
- Third-party lingual SKUs exist in the wild. We do not claim sublingual as the official Cytomed Cytomax form.

Limits of current evidence
- Cytomax SKUs are oral capsules. Do not run SubQ reconstitution math on a zero-mg vial.
- Lot-to-lot composition is a fingerprint, not one sequence.
- This site will not treat the named organ disease from a peptide page.
- English-language V2 / analog bottles are a later commercial layer, not a Khavinson RCT.
Verdict
Chelohart is a Cytomax capsule complex from Heart muscle. It is not the paired cytogen, not a 5 mg research cake, and not a US supplement monograph. The organ story is in the dossier on this page.
Interactions & Contraindications
Standard Cytomax capsule identity, not a cardiology label.
Synergies & Common Stacks
Complex vs sequence. Capsules skip vial math.
