Treatment of cancers with radiation to the abdomen can influence the vaginal microbiome (any bacteria, virus, or other organisms found in the vagina). Both menopause and radiation cause a decrease in lubrication and elasticity of the vagina and symptoms including vaginal dryness, vaginal burning and itching, vaginal bleeding, pain or burning during urination, and pain during sexual intercourse. What it tests, as registered

Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA); Placebo

Registered summary

Major depressive disorder (MDD) is a major contributor to impaired health worldwide. Initial antidepressant treatment of MDD does not lead to response in up to 50 % of patients. TRD (Treatment Resistant Depression) is associated with increased rates of recurrence, mortality as well as increased treating costs compared to MDD. Treatment op-tions for TRD remain limited with lithium, quetiapine and esketamine being the only recommended and approved augmentation strategies in the EU. The full summary is on the listing.

Registered summary

Chronic pain symptoms are very common among U.S. Military Veterans and have a profound negative impact on mental health symptoms and quality of life, in addition to increasing risk for suicidal ideation and suicidal behaviors. There are currently extremely few safe and effective pharmacological treatments for chronic pain disorders, and the clinical need to develop new therapeutics for pain has never been more urgent. Fueled by the worsening opioid crisis and further exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, opioid and other drug overdose deaths have climbed to staggeringly high levels.
