Where they differ
From the rowsThe best-graded row, grade C, is a randomized trial of 1,793 people (2024) and found no difference.
By our six checks (size, design, length, who was studied, year and grade), the two sides do not differ cleanly. The dose and how each outcome was measured are in the rows below. 1 row with mixed results is left out of this comparison.

Overall sleep quality was not significantly better (OR 2.26, p = 0.082), but 20 mg CBN reduced awakenings (p = 0.025) and overall sleep disturbance (p = 0.023); sleep onset, WASO and daytime fatigue did not change, and adding CBD did not help.
