NutraHarmony: biotin, omega-3, boswellia and magnesium

NutraHarmony sells supplements mainly on Amazon. We link four of them: its NSF-certified Biotin, Collagen & Keratin capsules, a budget omega-3, a boswellia blend and a magnesium glycinate, with each label’s doses, what the front of the bottle does not tell you, and the blood-test warning that comes with high-dose biotin.

Who it suits

Four products we list
  • People who want a biotin and B-vitamin combination with an independent certification: the Biotin, Collagen & Keratin capsules are NSF/ANSI 173 certified.
  • Budget buyers who want a lot of EPA and DHA per softgel: 3 softgels give 2.2 g, at the cost of an unstated oil form and no independent test.
  • People who want a boswellia blend or a low-dose magnesium glycinate with vitamin D3 and B6.

What to know first

5 points
  • High-dose biotin (5,000 mcg per serving here) can distort troponin and thyroid blood tests: stop it at least 3 days before blood work and tell your clinician.
  • Only the Biotin, Collagen & Keratin capsules are NSF-certified. For the other three, the brand says third-party tested without a published certificate.
  • The magnesium’s “500 mg” is the glycinate compound; each capsule holds 90 mg of magnesium. Its 310 mg of collagen in the biotin capsules is far below the 1 to 10 g a day used in collagen trials.
  • Every link goes to Amazon, where prices change, so we print none: check the price on Amazon.
  • These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

The Biotin, Collagen & Keratin capsules are on NSF’s public NSF/ANSI 173 listing. For the omega-3, boswellia and magnesium, the brand says third-party or lab tested without publishing a certificate, and we found no independent listing.

What the research says about the key ingredients

We grade the human research on each ingredient on its own page, study by study. No published trial of these products is cited here, and nothing here is a claim for any of them.

How we grade: A = several randomized trials or a meta-analysis; B = at least one adequately sized randomized trial; C = small or mixed trials; D = a single small trial, lab or animal data; no effect shown = adequately sized trials that found none. Not graded = a fact about another use, with no trial of the question to grade.

Safety notes

Talk to your clinician first if

Not medical advice
  • You have blood work coming up: high-dose biotin can distort troponin and thyroid results. Stop the biotin capsules at least 3 days before and tell your clinician. FDA safety communication on biotin (opens in new tab)
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding: the biotin capsules’ label says not to use them, and they add 4,000 IU of vitamin A.
  • You take a blood thinner or have surgery coming up: high-dose fish oil and boswellia may add to bleeding risk. Our omega-3 page
  • You have a fish allergy: the omega-3 and the biotin capsules (fish collagen) contain fish.
  • You have kidney problems or take bisphosphonates or tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics: magnesium needs care and spacing. Our magnesium glycinate page
  • You take other vitamin D, vitamin A or B6: add up your total from every product.

Questions about NutraHarmony

Questions

5 answers · checked Oct 28, 2026

Is NutraHarmony biotin NSF-certified?

Yes: NSF’s public NSF/ANSI 173 listing names Nutra Harmony, LLC’s “BIOTIN, COLLAGEN & KERATIN” capsules (read Oct 28, 2026). That is its only NSF-listed product.

How much magnesium is in NutraHarmony Magnesium Glycinate 500 mg?

90 mg of magnesium per capsule. The 500 mg is the weight of the magnesium glycinate compound, most of which is glycine.

How does the NutraHarmony omega-3 compare?

On our commission-blind omega-3 rubric it ranks #10 of 20, with no medal: it gives a lot of EPA and DHA per softgel, but the label does not state the oil form and we found no independent test. OceanBlue Omega-3 2100 remains our omega-3 Editor’s pick.

Why is there no price on this page?

Every link goes to Amazon, where prices change often. We print none rather than a stale one.

Does Kymata earn money from these links?

Yes, a commission on purchases through Levanta’s Amazon links. It does not change the omega-3 rubric, which never reads who pays us.
